We entered 6 women into a derby for their first derby and some their first time ice fishing!

We want to give a special thanks to Dexter Russell in Southbridge, MA for donating to us-it helps us continue our conservation efforts!

We will explore starting at the local lighthouse nearby then the fort state park - followed by a light picnic together! Each lady is asked to bring something for our picnic to share!     Join us for a nice fishing adventure to start your child’s passion for the outdoors! We provide the children all with poles to continue to have amazing adventures! The children are all provided bait and will be taught how to fish with live bait and fake bait. Last year they caught over 20 fish!

    Learn how to catch trout and harvest it too. Please specify whether you have equipment or need it. You Must have a Massachusetts fishing license! We start fishing at 8am and end around 11am for some grillin’ and chillin’ -event ends at 2pm

    Kid’s explore the local stream and pools searching for tadpoles, crawdad, and baby fish. We provide nets and critter keepers to view their catches(they keep them) We will be teaching the children the different species of frogs we see, the frog cycle, and the little ecosystem they live in.

What an AMAZING group of women!!! Very active in the hunting/fishing/outdoor areas. They are regularly setting up challenges, doing things to support eachother, and are actively working to expand their offerings!
